The goal of this weekend Developer Diary

Because the end of month is near, I will focus on the balancing of chapter 2.
Trying not to make the game is too easy, or too hard.
So Here's the list that I'm doing right now.
- Balancing the chapter 2(add, remove, switch monsters)
- Still working on the boss3's H anime
- Testing Flare(Note : flare will not function without light effect)
- Fixing broken Easy mode

Recently, I played Crisis point Demo and I liked it. beautiful pixel images and smooth game play.
Well this is not a news but I just want let everyone know the exist of this game. Great game.
Well If you don't know him, you must know about him. >:D
He's the reason why I started making eroge, and he'z so good about making game(not only ero part, the game it self is fun!).
If you haven't played his game, You missed something big as an Erogamer. god, I love his games.

Demo version update log Download Demo

Here's the New version of the Demo(not WIP), this file contains chapter
1.
Changes : Optimization, Easy mode test version, Light effect option,
broken V-sync function fixed,
taking damage no longer flips your direction.
Note : Right now the Easy mode only functions as incoming damage reducer.
It's test mode, incomplete.
I'm having a little trouble with my blog,
so I'll just upload my game on patreon and steamy.

There is still a glitch where some zombies "start" a death animation and keep repeating it (like their spazing in 1 spot).
Easy mode still seems a bit rough, the plants/running zombie guy still drain a ton of hp
Encountered a bug where gun shots go through a zombie for some reason which can still hit the player. It happened with the zombies near the very first plant you encounter.
Would be nice to have some "key" indicator maybe (unless the levels are staying small/doors close)
Maybe Hp regen slowly in easy mode and less hits to kill zombies
Maybe a zoom option when being raped by something?
A "view sprite animation" in gallery
Maybe a save point you can press the up arrow on to manually save, instead of the random location saves.

1. really? I haven't seen one for while, I'll check that out.
2. Right now the [Easy mode] is not functioning well, only work as damage reducer. it's test mode. I will fix it.
3. Don't worry the map design will remain as simple. it will not become complicate more than this.
4. Sadly, This game designed for limited HP, I can't add them.
5. I like that Idea, but my programmer hates that Idea T_T
6. already in game in WIP product. just not in the Demo.
7. I'm sorry. I may add a shortcut or add more check point, but I can't change the save system.

What part of the game annoyed you most? explanation
Clip count has no contrast in certain rooms, and can be invisible
There's 2 glitches with standard zombies I've run into, one where zombie is stuck in a looping hit-stunned animation, another where collision detection disappears for my attacks on a zombie, but it can still hit me. (for the later, may be caused by hitting a "stack" of zombies)
Health pickups are not optional, and are used on contact, rather than leaving them until needed.
Perhaps intentional, but nevertheless annoying that IFrames don't seem to affect pollen/spores.

and about zombie looping animation, currently we are looking for the solution @_@)a
and about stacked zombie; I purposely designed it that way(way you can hit only one monster)
since the running away or use hand gun is better solution, the melee fight in this game is like a last solution when you really got nothing on your hand
(No Bullets, No Molotov, Naked) You have many way to conserve your ammo.
for example, shoot one bullet on normal zombie then melee him will kill normal zombie without giving him chance to counter attack.

You probably surprised because the most of contents in this blog is gone right?
Yep, this is bad news. I just realized my hosting company dose not allow the adult contents which is sexually explicit materials
(even freaking nudity is not allowed!)
Damn I didn't realized that until I found out the host gator has many sister site and some of them has different policy
(and I picked the worst one)
I'm glad I realized it before I get something worse news. so I removed the most of the sensitive materials from the blog.
well, this is still Dev's blog, and the warning sign will not go away. so this blog will stay as a blog for Anthophobia!
but so far I will not be able to upload any sexual materials until I get enough money to move to the other hosting company.
or I have to use this hosting until next year oct (3 year contact no refund, which is sux)
gah, this sux. X_X;

Stage 2 will be reveal for Citizen card tier and Gold card tier in end of this month.
I've already done H anime for the stage 2 boss, so now I'm helping the programmer for balancing stage 2.
I'm persuading the programmer to add flare(throw like Molotov).
So what I'm going to reveal this weekend is, it's the Boss for the chapter 2, and WIP H anime for chapter 3 boss.
Worry about spoiling? Don't worry I'm not going to spoil everything.
since I'm not done with H anime for boss 3, so I can't even spoil anything. because it's WIP, there's nothing after that!
I'll reveal the WIP image and sketches for the concept of the boss 2.
Oh by the way, the poll is not done yet. until next month! so please vote!

Nukige mode :
Successful escape from H anime will cause normal zombie get killed(His heart has been torn apart ;_;)
Normal zombies will use only dive attack(aka lupin dive attack)
H attack dmg will be halved

what part from games annoyin u so much?
in my opinion is a chain attack for enemy.. and its give u zero time for avoid that..
(yes u can avoid 1 hit.. but after that next monster will hit u.. so it will make u lose more HP..)
so im suggest make a 2-3 sec more invincible frame... so we can positioning our move and counter..
^ or u can make a counter attack move? when get hitted? -
Hey...So I read your previous and I have to say that pride is a hard thing to deal with. And that I think you chose the right thing to do and added it to patreon.
Anyway, in my opinion the game is fine the way it is. Ok...maybe a strip option and slightly more checkpoint would be awesome..
So keep doing what you do best. :D

I absolutely love the game. Even as a WIP this game is better than several 'Action' type H Games being sold already. I won't say it's never been done before, but it's fresh to me and it's excellently executed. There is obviously a lot of love and thought being put into this game, I see wonderfully drawn sprites and very well thought out level design (Honestly I could care less how many paintings or cracks are on the wall, but that feeling of not knowing what's in the dark is amazing in an action H Survival game).
I also don't often leave posts or feedback due to plenty of people already posting what I'd complain or praise about, and I honestly don't have much to complain about here. In the polls I voted for the none etc. options except for the what I find annoying part so I felt I might as well leave a message if not to show how excited I am for a full release of this! The only part that annoyed me was that the zombies couldn't rape you unless you were entirely naked, which I understand from a developmental standpoint (It's less sprites and coding, also makes the system for being attack easier to understand) so I don't expect anything like chances to be raped when your in your underwear or something like that, but I was wondering if there could be an indicator or some form of visual image showing what clothing you have left on you that can break (Thinking about something like systems that RPG's have where they show a basic human outline and highlight broken armor slots as red or something). Although it'd also only clutter up the screen and probably take away from that survival feeling of "How much more can I take before this gets worse?" feeling.
Regardless, I hath summoned the ancient wall of text to annoy both you and anyone who wants to read it. I just wanted to say you are doing a wonderful job on this game :)

I do want support your patreon but, there's so many out there I love as well, I'm kinda burnt out on extra income. I can make due for a one time payment though, so I'll definitely pick up the game when it comes out. I wouldn't fault your pride for not making a patreon sooner as I find people who rush their ideas to be funded, to be the less trusting sort these days. It's only bad if you don't deliver on your promises anyway.

i voted "etc" on annoying things because there was no "all of the above" option ;p
also more checkpoints would be nice. the current difficulty wouldn't be so bad if i didn't have to beat through tons of mook zombies over and over every time i got to a new spot and died
in regards to nukige mode, would it be possible to add a separate area/stage that just has every enemy lined up in different rooms, or maybe a gallery mode?

and about check points....hmmm, I'm still looking for the better solution.
and about The room of torture, hmm..well we do have pixel animation room on the extra tab but In my opinion, It needs more refine. I hope the next update triggers the programmer about it.

I voted "Hard and Not Fair!" for difficulty, and upon thinking more about it, I have to say that I think there's only one thing that I think actually IS unfair, and for me that's the little seed pods that shoot out from the flower enemies. the ones that hypnotize you and make you walk to them, if there was some sort of break away mechanic similar to the way the sex attacks already work I think I would be okay with it, but as it is I would say that's the only thing I really think is unfair about the game. other than that I think it is totally fair.

Well for now the best way to avoid hypnotize seed pods is not getting hit, or stay close to grabby plant to make him focus on the melee attack. if he uses melee attack, he don't shoot the pod about 2~3 seconds. Once you get hit by pod, you'll lose control. but actually, the hypnotize pod has limitation. once the player got hypnotized, player gets resist to hypnotize pod for about 5 seconds. so if player get hit by hypnotize seeds twice, drugged effect length become halved.
the hint for dealing with grabby plant is, once you see him, you have 3 options to dealing with him.
- He used to be alone when there's no fire around him. feed him 5 bullets will makes him happy to leave.
- If he's not alone, there should be fire source near him. like oil lamp, or gas barrel. shoot them and fire will take care of him.
- If he's not alone, and there's no fire source. the best way to avoid him is just rush through him.Risk your cloth, or get grabbed and lose about 10% of your health is much better than lose your life while fights horde of them.

annoying thing: you're facing the other way after getting hit
the game needs to tone down the difficulty a lot, the current difficulty should be used once you get far into the game, not good for early stages
running animation is a bit awkward. I suggest checking http://www.spriters-resource.com/ or http://spritedatabase.net/news for running sprites reference, there is a lot of sprite sheets from tons of games. But it's okay if you don't change it, it's nothing gamebreaking!overall good game with alot of potential, looking forward to it! Keep up the good work!

Hey! I made an account just so I could tell you how much I like this game. The first boss on the demo was a really good challenge, the level for the most part was fun. It's nice that this H-Game actually has a game to it that's actually not crazy easy to beat. If you changed the difficulty don't change it much because it's almost perfect. Keep up the good work bro!
Also, I really like the design you have for your main character, sometimes I wish I could make games so I could create characters with interesting stories.
If you ever need someone to play through your games for you to find bugs, I would be happy to lend a hand when I am free!

Here's the question I was trying to ask! Will some of the enemies in future releases be able to fully turn the protagonist into a full plant-girl zombie? I noticed on the fast zombie's game over scene she has a flower growing out of her eye, which is really cool! Basically, will it be possible to see her fully transform into a zombie during gameplay (like after a sex animation) or in a game over screen? Thanks for getting back with me, I appreciate it!
